Featured Project – A Beautiful Use of Live Sawn White Oak

As soon as you walk into this home you’re greeted with beautiful live sawn White Oak hardwood flooring. This is becoming a popular choice for residential hardwood flooring and it’s easy to see why. The White Oak creates a warm and inviting environment, just the place you want to call home. The stair system is also White Oak with extra thick 2″ treads creating seamless flooring between levels.

Live sawn White Oak beams are used throughout the entire home and add to the rustic feel. These box beams have the look of traditional solid beams but are hollow on the inside making them weigh much less than traditional beams therefore putting less strain on the structure.

The downstairs has several unique accent features including the custom made sliding doors which lead into a personal workout room. The walls of this workout room are reclaimed Ash wood. This Ash wood was used to match the sliding doors and also includes a hidden door in the wall of the workout room. Behind the bar are reclaimed Oak floating shelves and the sofa table behind the couch is custom designed and crafted using reclaimed Hickory. Another unique accent feature in this home is the hand hewn White Oak faced vanity making this sink look like it was built directly into old hand hewn beam.
