It’s Great to be Part of a Larger Story!

Working daily with reclaimed wood has its challenges but it’s becoming a way of life to look past the old and forgotten and see the potential for new life and purpose. We’re not the only ones looking for new potential in the forgotten and some reclaiming projects go beyond just the reclaimed wood. We had the opportunity to install this reclaimed White Oak wood flooring in a historic business building in downtown Troy, Ohio. The reclaimed White Oak wood was used throughout the second and third stories, the staircase and even a sliding barn door (adding some rural midwest charm!). It wasn’t easy carrying all this hardwood up the stairs, but what a joy to see the renovations and new life being poured into this old and possibly forgotten building. It’s always great to see the innovations and work others are putting into reclaiming the old and forgotten with the vision of new purpose!
